Greetings and welcome to TRiO 


The UCR-Office of TRiO Programs is the home of two Upward Bound Programs and one Educational Talent Search Program . The TRiO Programs are funded by the United States Department of Education and are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search Programs assist low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.

At UCR, the TRiO Programs have been in existence since 2002 and are currently providing services to over 700 students at fifteen schools in the Banning, Beaumont, Riverside, and San Bernardino areas.
